Oh ah half of the classes listed on my page dont really have the "Studio" at the end...i just like the way it sounds haha. This was my favorite class of the symmester with out a doubt. It was kind of funny though because the teacher seemed almost as care free as me haha. I mean we didnt get half of our papers back until two classes before the symmester was over haha. It didn't bother me any though because i know how it is...well maybe if i did bad on them then it would have bothered me. Basically this class was about films and the different aspects that are communicated through them... in a sense kind of like time studio from a "third person" point of view. We watched film normally between two class periods becaus we were in this tiny ass classroom...well it wasnt small just too many people in one place at the same time. As we viewed the films we were asked to analyze and look for certain scenes of each. Normally with each film there was a central topic that movie seemed to specialize or dominate in (communication, props, sound, and a few more that i forgot). films: the piano, one flew from the cuckoo's nest, 2001, the apartment, hll in the pacific. i might be working on an animation that i probably wouldnt be able to take part in if it wasnt for this class.

mahogany god. :D
"The Piano" is one of my all-time, absolute, favorite movies. The sexual tension is so palpable. I love movies that seem to have a 'color' to them. I don't know if that makes sense to you or not, but basically, it looks like there's a color filter over the whole movie. An example would be "Great Expectations," the new version. It has a lot of green in it. Green props, green costumes, green scenery, etc. Watch that movie sometime. It has Ethan Hawke and Gweneth Paltrow in it.
this class sounds coooool i'm quite interested in making films..
